Stackvel Solutions (“Stackvel Solutions”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a technology company based in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect through stackvelsolutions.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

It covers this website and the enquiries that reach us through it. Work we carry out under a signed agreement is additionally governed by that agreement, which takes precedence over this policy wherever the two differ.

We only collect information you choose to give us, together with the basic technical information any website receives when a page is requested.

• Enquiry details you submit. Your name, email address, phone number, company name, the service you are interested in, an indicative budget range if you choose to give one, and whatever you write in the message field of the contact form or the site assistant.
• Correspondence. Emails, calls and messages exchanged with us about a prospective or active project.
• Technical information. Your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page and the pages you viewed. Our hosting provider records this in standard server logs.
• Site assistant transcript. The conversation you have with the assistant on this site is stored in your own browser’s session storage so it survives a page change. It is cleared when you close the tab and it is not transmitted to us unless you submit the enquiry form inside the assistant.

We do not ask for, and would rather you did not send us, financial account details, government identification numbers, health information or any other sensitive category of personal data through this website.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss what you are trying to build.
• To prepare a scope, an estimate or a proposal at your request.
• To deliver, support and maintain services you have engaged us for.
• To keep our own business records, including invoices and tax records we are required to retain.
• To keep the website working, diagnose faults and understand which pages are useful.

We do not sell personal information, we do not rent or trade contact lists, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

For visitors in India, we process personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit an enquiry, and for the legitimate purposes of responding to it and running our business, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 together with the rules made under them.

If you contact us from a jurisdiction with its own data protection rules, such as the UK or the European Economic Area, we handle your enquiry on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to it.

You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing it does not affect anything done before the withdrawal, and it may mean we can no longer continue a conversation or an engagement with you.

Your details stay with the people who need them to answer you. We share information outside Stackvel Solutions only in these situations:

• Service providers we rely on — our website host, our email provider, and any form or analytics service connected to this site. They process data on our instructions in order to provide their service to us.
• Professional advisers such as accountants or legal advisers, where they need it to advise us.
• Where the law requires it — in response to a valid legal process, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for as long as the conversation may reasonably continue, and are then deleted on request or during routine housekeeping. Records relating to an actual engagement — contracts, invoices and correspondence — are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the period our accounting and tax obligations require.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will do so except where we are required to keep a record.

This website is served over HTTPS, so what you send through the contact form travels encrypted between your browser and the server. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it, and accounts that hold them are protected with individual credentials.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will act on it and notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires us to.

You may ask us to:

• confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
• correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete information we no longer need to keep;
• stop using your details for a particular purpose, or withdraw a consent you gave;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
